What We Believe

We are a Word teaching based, Spirit filled, non-denominational multicultural, multi ethnic body of believers in the ONE “triune” God (father, the Son, & the Holy Spirit).

1. The scriptures are the inspired word of God, a revelation from God to man, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience, feelings, or reason, albeit not contrary to reason.2 Timothy 3:15-16, 1 Peter 2:2
2. We believe in One God manifest in three “persons” identified as the Trinity. This is a mystery but one believed true by faith and confirmed by the Word of God. Gen 1:26; 1 Cor 8:6; Matt 28:19, Deut 6:4, Mark 12:29; Isaiah 43:10
3. We believe Jesus the Christ is the Son of God (flesh) and God (divinity) and through him alone is access to the father (God) through the act of Salvation, which is based on grace, through faith and an open confession of that faith. Eph 2:8-9; John 14:6
4. We believe in the person & baptism of the Holy Spirit received at the point of one’s confession of faith; and that in HE empowers our salvation, transformation & sanctification.
5. We believe in the symbolism and act of water baptism to do as represented by Christ Jesus, upon one’s confession of faith in Him.Colossians 2:12; Acts 1:7-8
6. We believe in ALL the gifts of the Spirit being presently active appropriate to its distribution and purpose. 1Cor 12:1-31
7. We believe in the finished work of the cross through Christ death burial and resurrection, which gives all mankind the opportunity to Be born again, have new life, and live to their full potential according to the will & purposes of God. John 3:16-17; John 14:6; 1 John 3:8
8. We believe that tithing is scriptural and relevant for today in principle and in practice. 2 Cor 9:7; Malachi 3:8-10; Proverbs 3:9; Luke 6:38
9. We believe in the holistic message of prosperity according to the ethics of scripture and the principles the Word says about material gain. 3 John 2; 2 Thess 3:10; Deut 8:18; Matt 25:14-30
10. We believe that Scripture teaches sanctification as a process within salvation. All saved persons are to live holy, for God is holy. By the power of the Spirit we are able to follow the commands that lead toward holiness. Hebrews 12:14, 1 Peter 1:15, 1 Thess 5:23, 1 John 2:6
11. We believe in the Prophetic book of Revelation, the physical return of Jesus the Christ, the rapture of his church and the establishment of His millennial reign; Gods righteous judgment of men and angels and ultimately a new heaven and a new earth. Revelation chapters 1-22; 1Thess 4:16-17; 2 Cor 5:9-11
12. We believe that regardless of personal issues, position in life or struggles with sin all persons are afforded the God given right to receiving Jesus as their Lord and Savior and are to be received, loved, nurtured, taught and trained in the unity of the body and the knowledge of Christ according to scripture. Romans 3:10; 23; 1 John3:8; Ephesians 4:11-16
